Results to date
123 doctors, 318 nurses and 187 paramedics have been trained in care and prevention of diabetes. 32 clinics strengthened in NCD care with 643 people with diabetes registered. 139 awareness and screening camps have been conducted reaching about 350,000 people. 49,555 people were screened for diabetes using risk score assessments. Of these, 13,231 (26.7%) were found to be at high risk (risk score above 14). 84 health clubs formed in 24 secondary public schools and 30 private schools. Over 900 students are members of the health clubs.
