Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray questionable, Colt McCoy cleaned for Monday’s game against the 49ers

The Arizona Cardinals’ quarterback situation for Monday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers remains up in the air. Kyler Murray was listed as a questionable in the team’s final injury report, meaning he will likely be a game-time decider for the Mexico City neutral-site affair. fuse Colt McCoywho got the start in week 10 while Murray sat out with an injury was not listed on the injury report and would start if Murray was unable.

McCoy led the Cardinals to a 27-17 win over the Los Angeles Rams in his first start of the season. He completed 26 of his 37 passes for 238 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for four yards four times. Though McCoy left briefly with a knee injury, he was able to return and secure the win.

He was a third-round pick for the Cleveland Browns in the 2010 NFL Draft after a stellar career in Texas and has started more than 30 games in the NFL since then.

At Texas, McCoy caught up with the national champion quarterback in 2006 Vince Youngexit to the NFL. McCoy became the perpetual leader of the Longhorns, winning multiple national college football honors and leading Texas to its second BCS title win in four years when the Longhorns faced Alabama in the 2010 BCS National Championship Game at the Rose Bowl.
