As seen, personnel predictions for Austin Peay

Number 8 Alabama (8-2, 5-2 SEC) will face Austin Peay (7-3, 3-2 ASUN) in its sixth home game of the year. While we wait for the Crimson Tide and the governors to face off in Tuscaloosa, here’s the key information and staff predictions for tonight’s game.

Charlie Potter: Alabama 49, Austin Peay 3

Nick Saban’s winning streak of beating non-conference teams in the regular season may remain calm this week — as may some players suffering from nagging injuries. Expect plenty of young players in the second half, including some we haven’t seen since September because of the four-game redshirt rule. Alabama is rolling to its ninth win of the season, making the Iron Bowl at a time to grab its 10th win of the year for a 15th straight season under Saban.

Travis Reiner: Alabama 52, Austin Peay 6

One thing this UA team has done is beat underdogs by 30+ points. That will be the case again this week.

Kirk McNair: Alabama 55, Austin Peay 7

The end result is about 99.9 percent certain, the only question is how long Nick Saban will keep the starters in the game. He has a history of treating every game the same and he’ll likely get a good handle on this game before handing things over to backups.

Hank South: Alabama 55, Austin Peay 6

Alabama takes control early and wins with ease. The Crimson Tide avoids a nerve-wracking finish.

Tim Watts: Alabama 48, Austin Peay 9

I hope that some of the young guns will make their names in this game. It’s possible that some of the battered players are resting. So if the opportunity arises, this is a chance to make a name for yourself next season.
