Women’s shelter gifts ‘Garden of Hope’ | local news

Women and children who spend some time at a local women’s shelter can enjoy a lawned backyard, a raised bed with flower beds, a picnic table with a parasol, some climbing rose bushes, a bench swing, a fire pit, and a children’s playhouse.

The Garden of Hope at the Roswell Homeless Coalition Women’s Shelter on Bland Street was dedicated on Saturday afternoon by members of Roswell-based Altrusa International, who coordinated the work and funding for the project. Also in attendance were representatives of the Homeless Coalition and other community members.
