Michigan Football Recruitment vs. Ohio State Football Recruitment

The rivalry between Ohio State and Michigan continues off the football field.

The fight between the Buckeyes and the Wolverines continues even down the recruit path, which has given Ohio State the edge in the last three full recruit classes.

With both teams competing in the top 10 recruiting classes in 2022, with the Buckeyes at No. 4 and the Wolverines at No. 9, Michigan’s last better-rated recruiting class than Ohio State was in 2019, when the Wolverines were the No 8th composite class in the country compared to the Buckeyes’ No. 14.

Who will come out on top in 2023?

With 19 commitments in the Class of 2023, including a five-star recipient in Brandon Inniss, Ohio State has the No. 6 recruiting class in the country.

Michigan has 16 commits and seven four-star commits, but ranks No. 22 in the country behind programs like Florida, USC, Penn State, Arkansas, Louisville and Texas Tech.
